Web version of Skype IM. NB: 1. I did not text calls. You need to install the plugin audio and video calls. I'm not sure that this is available in Maxthon. 2. You can participate in group conference, but you can not create it. 3. Sidebar window is really closed when you you press "x". Usually in other extensions close button only minimized page. Same issue: "Please update your browser to start using Skype" I just downloaded the latest version of maxthon, so I'm assuming it's not compatible with the new one or it's not compatible with maxthon at all? Would like to know what the deal is, would love to have this extension so I don ...

reply to Messiahnyde: Did you try this in Chrome or Firefox? You need special plugin to call. Microsoft made this plugin, so if it does not work, nobody can force it works. If someone can, write to me. This is not "real" extension: this is just tool for fast work with web.skype.com in sidebar of popup window. Text messages work, calls... maybe. So it's called "Skype IM". Look up.
